Christmas book haul

Earlier in one of my posts, I mentioned about my “Bookshelf Day” . I generally clean up my shelves for making places for new books. And Christmas holiday is the best time to go for shopping and buying new books (my favourite part!). And also because I love winters!!

 

 

So these are the few books added to my shelves and I hope I can manage to get couple of more books by the end of this year. I will also include the Amazon links if you are interested to buy the books.

1. TIME TRAVELER’S WIFE by Audrey Niffengger

This book is a bit different from what I generally read (thrillers! I absolutely love thrillers). But I read about this book on Wikipedia and found it interesting. And moreover I like science fiction movies and so I thought to give it a try. I bought this book from College Street (one of the biggest book market, rather book street of Kolkata, India). I generally don’t buy a new book because I believe in reusing (unless it’s a damn important book for me). Buy on Amazon from here.

2. SANCTUS by Simon Toyne

This book was actually recommended by my friend who is also a bookish girl like me 😋. We both can talk about books for hours and never get bored of that. This book is actually part #1 of the Sancti trilogy. As I am a big fan of Dan Brown, she recommended me this book because this is also a religious conspiracy thriller. I am so much excited to read it. I bought the book from Bookchor. I love this website as they sell used books at a very cheaper price and yet in a great condition. Buy on Amazon from here

3. ONLY TIME WILL TELL by Jeffrey Archer

As I mentioned earlier, I am a big fan of thrillers. So obviously wanted to try Jeffrey Archer. This is the 1st book of The Clifton Chronicles and I am pumped up to read this from all the positive goodreads review. I can’t wait to start the book and I will definitely write a review on goodreads if I love this book. I got this book again from Bookchor. I will definitely recommend this site those who like to buy used books. Buy on Amazon from here.

4. ORIGIN by Dan Brown

This is my absolutely favourite book from my favourite author. I am reading this one currently and honestly I can’t stop! This is the 5th book of the Dan Brown series. And also this one is special because my boyfriend gifted me on my birthday (6th December peep’s ✌️). He also wrote a personalized note inside the book and aww I can’t stop blushing! This one is obviously a new book and I think he bought from Amazon only. I will definitely write a review on goodreads after finishing this one.Buy on Amazon from here
